Nacon Connect 2026 returned on May 7 with a showcase built heavily around horror, dark fantasy, and supernatural action. The event included several new reveals, fresh gameplay looks, and release updates across Nacon’s upcoming catalog. The biggest theme was clear almost immediately, with vampires, werewolves, hunters, cursed jungles, and occult mysteries all sharing the spotlight. For players who like games with monsters, mood, and co op tension, this was one of the more useful publisher showcases of the week.
The headline reveal was Hunter: The Reckoning Deathwish, a new first person action RPG set in the World of Darkness universe. The game takes players into an open New York City where they hunt supernatural threats while collecting clues and shaping their character through appearance, backstory, attributes, and skills. It is being developed by Teyon, the studio behind RoboCop: Rogue City, which gives the project a stronger action pedigree than a random license revival. The game is planned for Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud in summer 2027.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse Rageborn was another major reveal from the same larger universe. The game is a top down metroidvania where players switch between human, wolf, and werewolf forms while fighting the corporation Pentex. It is being developed by Crea ture Studios and is currently planned for 2027. The form switching alone gives it a clear hook, since traversal, combat, and progression can all change depending on which version of the character is being used.
The showcase also revealed Dracula: The Disciple, a first person puzzle game from Cyanide Studio. The story follows an archivist with an incurable disease who enters Dracula’s castle while searching for a cure and possibly eternal life. The game is built around occult instruments, rituals, elixir making, astrology, and the ghost of Renfield guiding the player through the castle. It is currently planned for Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud in 2027.
Nacon also showed more of The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a cooperative horror game from ACE Team. The game sends players into a cursed jungle during the time of the conquistadors, where teamwork and communication are needed to survive madness, creatures, and strange events. It launches on July 15, 2026, which makes it one of the showcase’s closest major releases. Hell is Us also received a Nintendo Switch 2 release date of September 24, 2026, adding another dark action adventure to the system’s upcoming calendar.
The event did not rely on one single blockbuster announcement, but it gave Nacon a clear identity for the year ahead. Hunter: The Reckoning Deathwish, Werewolf: The Apocalypse Rageborn, Dracula: The Disciple, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, and Hell is Us all point toward a lineup aimed at players who want stranger, moodier games outside the usual shooter and open world cycle. That makes the showcase worth covering because it offers several article friendly games with strong visual hooks. If even two of these land well, Nacon could have a stronger horror and dark fantasy lane than it has had in years.
